ONE BIG THING: Local Regulatory Breakthrough Meets Global Validation

This week, local market openings and global technological validation perfectly aligned. As the Korean government officially unlocked the public crypto custody market to private firms, BDACS’s KRW1 was explicitly highlighted by Circle’s CEO during his visit to Seoul, powerfully proving BDACS’s unparalleled infrastructure leadership both locally and globally.

Custody: Government Unlocks the Public Sector Market

The government’s new ‘Public Sector Virtual Asset Management Plan’ officially permits outsourcing government-seized assets to professional private custodians.

  • Media reports highlight that BDACS has preemptively integrated specialized blockchain solutions used by major public agencies, including the Prosecution, Police, NIS, and NTS. Additionally, BDACS has acquired the SOC 1 Type 2 security certification and reinforced its team with TradFi-level experts.

  • During his press conference, CEO Allaire cited KRW1 as a successful use case available on the Arc network. BDACS’s KRW1 is seamlessly available on Circle’s ‘Arc’ network. Furthermore, it supports various mainnets including Avalanche, Polygon, BNB, Plume, and Ethereum, providing a highly interoperable gateway for global liquidity entering Korea.
